PEERS® for Young Adults - Expression of Interest Form
The Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills (PEERS®) is an internationally acclaimed program, used in over 80 countries, and was originally developed at UCLA by Dr. Elizabeth Laugeson (https://www.semel.ucla.edu/peers). The sessions will be facilitated by Bridging Hope's Lead Coach, Ms. Peggy Lam who is a Certified Provider in Malaysia (Peers Malaysia's Young Adult Certified provider) together with En. Muhammad Nurhariz and Mr Lenesh Raj.

PEERS® for Young Adults is a 20-weeks evidence-based social skills group intervention program for motivated young adults who are interested in learning new ways of making and keeping friends. Young adults are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills in session doing socialization activities. Social Coaches also participate in 5 separate sessions to learn effective ways to assist their young adults in making and keeping friends. This program may be appropriate for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression or other social and behavioral challenges.

Program Details
Dates:  (Saturdays, Weekly Sessions starting in January - May 2024)
Session Format: In-Person 
Location: Bridging Hope, Unit 702, Block A, Phileo Damansara II, No. 15, Jalan 16/11, Off Jalan Damansara, 46350 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
Fees: RM2980 (for 20 weeks and inclusive of RM100 administration fee)
Eligibility Criteria
- 18 to 25 years old
- Reasonable English language skills for participation in group discussions
- No severe mental health or behavioral concerns
