I am trying to obtain the CompTIA technical trainer certification. I have prepared a real lesson on the Diamond Model of Intrusion analysis, based on a paper I work and a talk I gave at BesidesTLV. Because there is no way to obtain permission from the attendees appearing in the video, I need to submit an18-20 minute model lesson that I need to record with 5-8 zoom participants whose names MUST show in the chat during the entire lesson.
Active interaction with participants will be graded so ideally, I am looking for volunteer students who are interested in the topic and will actively participate by:
1. Complete the rest of this survey(3-5 min - 3 min now and 2 minutes after watching the video
2. Emailing me the exact permission text given below (less than 1 minute)
3. Watch a the original Bsides presentation (18 min)
4. Complete the rest of this survey(less than 3min) after watching the video
5. Attend the lesson and participate actively via chat/emojis/etc (no video required/audio option)
6. Submit a post lesson evaluation survey (less than 3 minutes)
The purpose of this lesson is to record me teaching you a real lesson about a real topic, which is why I am asking for volunteers interested in the topic rather than just roping in 5 friends or family members. I will use the answers you submit on the participant form to customize the training for you. Depending on the responses I receive, I MAY offer this lesson, and other similar live (zoom) sessions as well.
Even though the lesson will be approximately 20 minutes I am asking you to commit to one hour, in case I need to re-record the lesson.
Please answer ALL questions honestly. ( approx. time to complete: 3-5 min)
Thank you in advance for your time and consideration.
