SLU Qualitative Research Committee (QRC) invites you to attend a virtual panel discussion, titled "Social Responsibility and Accountability in Research with Non-numeric Data." Come join us to learn from diverse perspectives about qualitative methods in the sciences.

Topics to be covered include how panelists have come to embrace a particular method in qualitative study, how COVID-19 has impacted their teaching and research, how qualitative methods will yield social responsibility and accountability in the sciences, how qualitative research optimally captures underrepresented perspectives in the sciences, and how qualitative study is viewed in their discipline.

The QRC was founded in 1994 and represents an interdisciplinary committee with over two dozen faculty members from various colleges and schools.  The mission of the QRC reflects the committee’s will to promote the use of qualitative methodologies and foster interdisciplinary collaboration. New members are welcome.
