UDA Provider of the Year Nominations
Each year at our conference we recognize a provider from the community. Nominations are open to doulas, and can be found on Facebook and the Utah Doula Association website. The nominations are judged qualitatively and quantitatively by a panel of experienced doulas from the UDA. The provider who is found to be a leader in their field and a support to family centered care, is awarded at the conference by the founder or president of the UDA. This award recognizes doctors, midwives, nurses, and the like who are offering increasingly compassionate and comprehensive care for their patients, including prenatal and postpartum care. Dedicated to provide quality, evidence based care, these health care providers are creating better outcomes for mothers and babies not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
