Please fill out this form completely to register and save your spot for Capitol Shakespeare's 2024 Young Bards program.

Young bards is for actors age 12-17. No previous acting experience is necessary.

Auditions for specific roles will happen the first rehearsal. There will a script created by the director but actors will collaborate with the director to make it their own and develop it further.

*First rehearsal will be June 10th

*Performances will be July 17-21 6:30pm.

Rehearsals will be 2-4 days a week in the evenings for 90 minutes. Rehearsal times will be set after everyone registers in order to find a time that fits best with actors' schedules.

*Young Bards will perform as a "Green Show" prior to Capitol Shakespeare's production of Hamlet this summer.

Young Bards will be directed by Stephanie Jorritsma a former member of our youth theatre program and actor on the main stage for Capitol Shakespeare. Stephanie graduated from University of Jamestown and has directed for Young Bards previously.

Please list any schedule conflicts or expected absences during rehearsal time. June 10- July 21st after 5pm. Performances are July 17-21 at 6:30pm.

**We are hoping to rehearse 5:30-7:00 2 times a week, but we can change that if needed based on actor/ director schedules.
