New York State Fair - New Jr Superintendent Application
Thank you for your interest in becoming a 4-H Junior Superintendent at this years NYS Fair. This year the fair has returned to 13 days long.  New Jr Supers will be asked to work a minimum of one 5 day shift which may be extended if appropriate. Shifts will be discussed during the interview portion of the hiring process.  All applicants must complete the application and submit 1 letter of recommendation before they are offered an interview.

Before completing you application please read the following and review the full position description.

Expectations of Junior Superintendents:

* Must not have turned 19 years of age on or before Jan. 1, 2022
* Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of fair
* Attend JS Orientation as scheduled
* Assist with building set-up and building activities as scheduled
* Provide own transportation to and from State Fair
* Be available to work NYS Fair dates of operation, individually scheduled with Coordinator prior to fair
* Must complete shift as pre-arranged which may include up to 9pm on Labor Day
* Successful Applicants will be paid $40 per day premium for working a maximum of an 8 hr shift in the youth building while learning valuable team building skills and workforce habits.
