The Data Science Department at FTC-Middletown is offering a 2-day workshop with entry-level lectures for high school and college students around the Orange County region.

Participants will learn the Python programming language, and get hands-on practice with Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operation – in combination with Geographic Information Systems (GIS), as well as other cutting-edge data-related skills.

The workshop presents a unique opportunity for students to learn from top industry experts and experienced faculty. The innovative hands-on courses will give students a head start navigating the complex data science landscape, and, for high school students, enrich resumes for college applications.
