Volunteering - Scent Trials
Do you want to come out and volunteer for this Pioneering Event?
When: March 18th, 7:30am to 4:00pm
What: We need volunteers that are willing to help competitors get into and out of searches, score run, and possibly time!
Why: This event will be a great opportunity to watch some pretty awesome teams push their limits and explore taking risks with their calls and search styles.

You will receive an email closer to the trial with further details. This event will happen, rain or shine, so please bring appropriate clothing and a chair. We will be providing water, snacks, and lunch, but if you have specific dietary restrictions, please bring your own meal.

The theme is Pioneer! So please consider this in your wardrobe - plaid, bandanas (provided), jeans, and (gasp!) a cowboy hat are all welcome! The more themed you are, the easier it will be for competitors to understand you're a volunteer. Thanks for understanding!

By volunteering for the trial, the volunteer hereby assumes all risks of, and responsibility for, accidents and/or damage to her/himself or to her/his property or to others, resulting from the actions of themselves. The volunteer expressly agree that Release Canine LLC., Aleks Woodroffe, Successful Sniffers, Stacy Saravo, and its assignees or any other person, or persons, of said groups, shall not be held liable personally, or collectively, under any circumstances, for injury, and/or damage to her/himself, for loss or injury to property, whether due to uncontrolled dogs or negligence of any member of said groups, or any other cause, or causes.

All volunteers and spectators are expected to follow the rules as laid out in the entry form and demonstrate good sportsmanship. This includes not discussing hide placement or details of any dog’s performance prior to the conclusion of the search. Handlers may overhear details that can help or hinder their search, but is unwelcomed information either way. Respect should be shown to other handlers, spectators, officials, and any other parties on site. Poor sportsmanship may be cause for volunteer to be asked to leave the site.
