Welcome to The Tufts Daily! We are the entirely student-run newspaper of record at Tufts University in Medford, Mass. Here at the Daily, we pride ourselves on providing a unique experience in the world of journalism. As the smallest independently operated college newspaper in the country (and one of the nation's top-ranked college papers!), a position at the Daily offers you the freedom to take on a large array of responsibilities. Whether you've been writing for your student paper for years or have never written outside of your English class prior to college, we'd love to have your voice as a part of our paper. The Daily is split into three departments: editorial, production and business. The editorial department produces content; it encompasses our news, features, arts, opinion, sports, investigative, science, audio, video and photo sections. Our production department oversees the nightly production of our paper; it encompasses the layout, copy, graphics, social media and newsletter sections. Our business department brings in revenue and funds our entire operation; it encompasses a number of different positions.
