Program Requirements
Accepted participants will be junior high (7th/8th grade) or high school students. Priority will be given to students who have not previously participated in LA Opera 90012. Participants, with their chaperone (a parent or legal guardian) who will attend each performance with them, must be able to attend an online orientation over Zoom on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at 7:00pm. Participants and their chaperones must also be able to attend all four performances (see below performance schedule).

"The Marriage of Figaro" by W.A. Mozart - Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 7:30pm
"Otello" by Giuseppe Verdi - Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 7:30pm
Accepted Ambassadors will be high school students (entering 10th grade or higher in the fall) who have already participated in LA Opera 90012 for at least one season. Ambassadors must submit an additional essay at the end of this application. If accepted, Ambassadors will be required to complete at least 10 volunteer service hours for LA Opera over the course of the season.
