Accredited Certifying Agent Application
 Pursuant to HB20-1343 and C.R.S. 8 CCR 1202-19,  the Colorado Department of Agriculture (CDA) has established this application for an employer conducting audits/inspections of farms that house egg laying hens, and business that produce, pack, store, or transport shell eggs and egg products for sale into the State of Colorado to seek a certificate of accreditation from CDA, and certify farms and business as compliant with Colorado Cage-Free regulations.

The following application must be filled out by an authorized person for the third-party certifying employer. When received the CDA staff will review.  Upon approval of the application a Third-Party Certificate of Accreditation will be emailed to the employer.

A description of the procedures used for reviewing and investigating farms and businesses that may be out of compliance with the Act or Rules. *
A description of the procedures to be used for complying with the recordkeeping requirements of the Act. *
Any other information you believe may assist in the Department's evaluation of this application.
