Payment of the financial support

The allocation and amount of support is recommended by the travel committee of the Czech Literary Centre. The approved funds will be paid out on the basis of signing the contract concluded between the ML and the organization and on the basis of submission the final report and invoice:

Up to 40% of the awarded amount will be paid within 30 days since the presentation of the planned event in the organizer’s materials on the basis of a partial invoice (and a copy of promotional materials/website screenshot or other proof that the author will be taking part in the event). The remaining 60% will be paid out on the basis of an invoice within 30 days after the final report has been sent.
100% of the awarded amount will be paid out after the event on the basis of an invoice within 30 days after sending the final report.

In the event of a change in the programme that affects the amount of support, the ML has the right to reduce the amount with regard to the expected costs of the event. The reduction of the amount will be communicated with applicant by e-mail.

Final report

The applicant is obliged to send the report to the e-mail address info@czechlit.cz, no later than 30 days after the event (for events at the end of the calendar year by 15 December). The final report should include:

brief description of the event
link to the outputs of the event (website, social networks, possible audio or audiovisual recording, media coverage of the event or project and the author etc.)

At least 3 print quality photographs of the event will be attached to the final report for use of CLC.

Promotion of the event

The applicant is obliged to include the logo of the ML/CLC (downloadable here) and a mention that the event is organized in cooperation with the Czech Literary Centre, a section of the Moravian Library, at its own expense. If possible, add a hyperlink to www.czechlit.cz/en. The applicant shall tag the CLC on Facebook and Twitter in every post about the event (unless the applicant and the CLC agree on another method of promotion in advance). Submitting an application does not entitle the applicant to enter into a contract with ML. Submitting an application does not entitle the applicant for the support, the ML reserves the right to review applications and decide which applications to accept and which not to accept. In justified cases, the ML may disregard the recommendations of the travel committee and decide otherwise. The ML will notify applicant whose applications it accepts of this acceptance in writing or by e-mail. The ML reserves the right to unilaterally modify the conditions for allocation the support during the course of its implementation for objective reasons. The announcement of this programme does not constitute a promise pursuant to § 2884 et seq. and § 2887 et sew. of Act No. 89/2012 Coll., Civil Code.

By sending its application, the applicant gives its consent to publish the allocated amount of support on the website of the CLC.
