Our special two class series will take place at the tranquil bay (shallow enough for our little swimmers). The exact location will be disclosed once signed up.

The California State Fish- The Garibaldi
Class will officially run from 11:00-12:00 pm but feel free to come earlier or later to enjoy the sun and fun!

A Breakdown of the Lesson Series
In our The Famous Five unit, we’ll activate the senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch.
- In our Hidden Senses unit, we’ll focus on integrating multiple sense at one and introduce two hidden senses that, though less known, have a major impact on how kids feel and learn the vestibular system and proprioception.
- Wonder unit with two very special lessons designed to help us explore the senses we love most at Tinkergarten.

Science Exploration

A Breakdown of the Lesson Series
Each class will begin with physical play to get our wiggles out. We will engage in a new activity each class from shooting off rockets to playing childhood favorite games such as tag, duck duck goose and red light/green light. In our second half of the class, our young scientists use the scientific method to learn about the world around them. We will answer questions such as: "Can you see sound?" or "How do our senses cause reactions? ". We will learn about the olfactory system and auditory system.
