As candidate for Editor, I hope to continue building a strong communications platform for the DGS community. During this past year, my goal as Editor of The Record was to increase overall content to encourage strong member engagement. With the addition of the 3DSS Special Edition and other new topics in our quarterly publications we have started this process and I hope to continue during 2024.
Additionally, I would like to be more actively involved in the geophysical community in the Denver area, and this position allows me valuable opportunities to contribute consistently to DGS’ programs. My position within the Department of Geophysics at Colorado School of Mines provides a unique opportunity to encourage more active engagement from student organizations and young professionals in DGS programs and activities. Thank you for your consideration.
