The pace of modern life and rampant consumerism are having a major impact on our nature, animals and
humanity as a whole. We can already see the obvious consequences of human consumerism - huge mountains islands of plastic litter in the oceans, plastic in the stomachs of animals parts of plastics that are contributing to the extinction of more and more endangered species. Ultimately, this affects us humans too, as plastic particles are already found in our food and many people in poorer countries are forced to live amongst the rubbish.

Zero waste generation", seeks to develop skills for living a zero-waste life, develop habits to refuse single-use products and use reusable items, and learn to
reuse items that seem to be no longer needed.
