La Academia de Música del Festival Internacional Portillo se realiza cada año en el icónico Hotel Ski Portillo, en lo alto de las montañas andinas de Chile, justo en la frontera con Argentina.

La Academia del Festival Portillo fue diseñada para proporcionar a jóvenes talentos de América Latina la oportunidad de ingresar a un ecosistema de excelencia, estudiando con algunos de los mejores músicos de cámara del mundo, como el American String Quartet. Cada año, cincuenta y dos estudiantes becados de hasta 10 países de la región han revelado sus sueños y talentos ante sus maestros y colegas, sus mecenas y audiencias y, lo más importante, ante sí mismos.

​Para nosotras es un gran desafío, ya que juntar los recursos para asegurarnos que estos jóvenes puedan seguir viviendo esta experiencia que impactará sus vidas de una manera positiva, es sin duda una gran aventura, sin embargo la belleza de todo esto, es que no estamos solas y que hay recursos ilimitados para hacerlo y sólo tenemos que juntarnos con ellos... La invitación para ustedes es a ser parte de esta maravillosa aventura de construir sueños, agrandar vidas y revivir corazones... ese puede ser un enorme regalo para la inocencia, la vida y la carrera de jóvenes talentos... entonces te invitamos a sumarte proponiendo ideas que piensen pueden colaborar con esta meta y si es posible ayudarnos a llevar a cabo esas ideas... fantástico también!!!
(The Portillo International Festival Music Academy is held each year at the iconic Hotel Ski Portillo, high in the Andean mountains of Chile, right on the border with Argentina.

The Portillo Festival Academy was designed to provide young talent from Latin America with the opportunity to enter an ecosystem of excellence, studying with some of the world's best chamber musicians, such as the American String Quartet. Each year, fifty-two scholarship students from up to 10 countries in the region have revealed their dreams and talents to their teachers and colleagues, to their patrons and audiences and, most importantly, to themselves.

For us it is a great challenge, as gathering the resources to ensure that these young people can continue to live this experience that will impact their lives in a positive way, is indeed a great adventure, however the beauty of it all, is that we are not alone and that there are unlimited resources to do it and we just have to join them.... The invitation to you is to be part of this wonderful adventure of building dreams, enlarging lives and reviving hearts... that can be a huge gift to the innocence, life and career of young talents... so we invite you to join us by proposing ideas that you think can collaborate with this goal and if possible help us to carry out those ideas... fantastic too!!!!)
