Totally Renewable Phillip Island (TRPI) was formed at a public meeting on Phillip Island in 2018. There are 6 working groups plus a coordinating Core Group. The Core Group has members of each working group. The working groups are: Clean Transport, Clean Energy, Food and Waste, Carbon Accounting, Education and Communication, Regenerative and Carbon Farming.

Today in 2021, TRPI is a collective of 14 Phillip Island community groups and organisations that share the TRPI vision of zero emissions by 2030. Each member organisation retains its independent identity and governance structure, while working towards their own and the TRPI shared goals as part of their core business.
