Thank you for volunteering to be a part of LaG portfolio mentors. We are a free program that helps seventh and eighth-grade students prepare their art portfolios for high school applications.

As a mentor, you will be matched with the number of mentees you have chosen through our Google form. Your role will be to reply to emails or messages from your mentees at least every three days between July 9th and August 20th. They may ask you questions about their art or seek your advice, and your task will be to guide them and help them create the best art possible for their portfolio. Throughout this mentoring, we hope you apply the skills you have learned at LaGuardia, including considering the mentees composition, value, color, and so on.
