Foothill Technology High School teaching colleagues, Kristen Pelfrey and Conni Carr, are piloting…
                                "Girls Do...digital design and fabrication workshop series"
...for high school girls in Ventura, California, during the week of June 17-21, 2019.

The workshop series is FREE to our student participants.
We aim to attract a group of 40 young women interested in S.T.E.A.M. fields.
We are targeting underrepresented populations in our school and district with this opportunity.

We are reaching out to locals in industry as guest speakers throughout the week of the workshop.
We are seeking community partners to fund/provide snacks, lunches, and materials for the week.

Current community partners include:
Epilog ~ LaserSketch ~ Colorado Heirloom ~ DTech Academy@FTHS ~ Foothill Tech HS

Together, they have provided materials and facilities to get us started…
                                                                         ...but we are still in need of additional support.

We are looking to provide snacks, drinks and lunches for our 40 participants as well as host, at minimum, one guest speaker from industry each day ( time is flexible ).

We will gladly advertise your partnership on our web site, future marketing materials, signage during the event and in any article or posting following the Girls Do summer event.
