Can AI help open science?
A PANEL DISCUSSION ABOUT THE APPLICATIONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN OPEN SCIENCE
Event Timing: April 27, 5 - 6:30PM via Zoom

Everybody is talking about ChatGPT and Perplexity right now. But apart from answering more or less scientific questions and writing drafts for scientific papers, how will AI impact the way we do science? Will AI replace scientists in the future? Can scientific authorship still be a measure of scientific qualification in the future? And can AI make science more open after all?

Keynote kickoff by Dr. Salvatore Raieli (
Senior Data Scientist at Oncodesign, Dijon, and writing about science and artificial intelligence in Medium)

Panel discussion with:
Dr. Susanne Beck (Senior researcher, LBG Open Innovation in Science Center, Vienna, and Department of Strategy and Innovation, Copenhagen Business School, Copenhagen)
Dr. Basile Wicky (PostDoc, Baker Lab, Institute for Protein Design, University of Washington)
TBD
