Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this email finds you well. We are super excited to announce that it is officially basketball season!
Basketball is not just a sport; it's an opportunity for our students to develop teamwork, coordination, and leadership skills while having a blast on the court. Whether your child is a seasoned player or new to the game, our program caters to all skill levels and aims to create a positive and engaging experience for everyone.
Program Details:
Age Groups: U18, U15, U13, U11 boys and girls divisions
Practice Schedule: Each team will have one mandatory training per week
Games: Games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays, depending on the age group. They are usually weekly, but there will be weeks where there is not a game scheduled. It will be up to the coach if they'd like to use that time for an extra practice if space is available. There will also be tournaments at the end of the season.
Coaching: This year, our LL and ML teams will be coached by VERSO community members (LDs, staff, parents/guardians). Because of scheduling conflicts, our UL will be coached by our service provider.
Cost of Basketball Training: To be advised next week
Please make sure to sign up as soon as possible so we may gather the info we need and start fielding teams to make schedules. We want to start practicing the week of August 21st. Thanks very much!
