Ways to Stay Calm When You Feel Your Lid About to Flip
This form goes with Week 3's lesson on why we flip our lids when we get really upset. We learned about how the brain works and enters into fight, flight, or freeze mode. We also learned that we can recognize when we are having a strong emotional reaction by the sensations in our bodies. Those sensations can help us recognize that it is time to use some strategies for staying calm. If you would like to share your strategy, fill this in.
