Topic Ideas

Every month our WordPress Meetup communities strive to offer a wide variety of talks and discussions about WordPress. We are looking for people who are excited about WordPress to entertain our attendees and teach them new things

What we are looking for:

*) Active WordPress users & lovers passionate about a WordPress related topic. They should be able to present in 10 – 45 minutes, ideally not less than 20 minutes and not more than 45 minutes. They should have great looking slides and detailed, coherent explanations/content. They will be required to submit their slides at least 5 days before the scheduled meetup day.

*) Speaking experience is not mandatory but individual should have a passion to engage the audience
*) People who have experience in the field their topic pertains to
*) People with new & fresh insights and who are willing to share them with our WordPress audience

Lightning Talks – We also seek talk submissions for 10-min short presentations. These are bite-sized formats great for short demos, quick tips, and inspirational stories. You can show us what you have made with WordPress and explain how you did it, or what you learned in the process. Give us concrete examples: code snippets, 10 important lessons you learned, specific advice on how to avoid problems, etc. Nothing is too hardcore, advanced, simple or beginner-level. We’re looking for diversity.

If you would like to propose multiple topics, please submit the form multiple times, once for each topic. Please be as detailed as possible. You will be notified when a decision about your submission is made, no later than 3 weeks after your submission.

P.S: WordPress Chittagong Group follows the WP Foundation Global Policies which means we do not cover expenses or travel costs for speakers. Speakers are 100% volunteers, and we are extremely grateful for their help.
