'Bossa Nova Boot Camp' Vocal Masterclass series focuses on Brazilian Jazz standards for solo singers, teachers & accompanists - music degree, VCE students and professional performers who want to craft a Bossa nova or MPB song to their best ability. One song is covered in each stand alone fortnightly module - commencing in May 2022.

Format:
5 weeks, 5 songs - One song melody & interpretation  / 3 key options (Sop-Bari/Alto/Tenor)

Participants can work on their skills and the song after the masterclass session then record themselves singing and submit it for a professional appraisal (of their voice or accompaniment) - receiving feedback on their interpretation and tips on how they might improve their performance of the Brazilian standard to the next level:
