Share your placemaking myths!
Placemaking is often misinterpreted for what it really is.
Some say "it's just nice benches and flowers", others that "it's all about communication", while
when it is well done, it can have a much deeper meaning and impact on our cities and communities.

Now, if we want to turn stereotypes upside down, I believe we first have to make them VISIBLE.

✍️ During Placemaking Week Europe in Pontevedra, I asked participants to share the stereotypes and misconceptions they hear the most about placemaking, and I turned them into illustrations.

Now I would like to develop this library of beliefs further, as I know we are many to have similar anecdotes.

In this form, you can share the stereotypes you hear the most about placemaking, or the judgments you have yourself on the subject.
I will turn them into illustrations and share them on my blog, The Urban Mycelium

🙏 I'm looking forward to hearing your stories!
