KCMC Social Media Manager Application

The Kansas City Mom Collective Social Media Manager will be the manager for Instagram and Facebook. They will work directly the KCMC executive team to plan and publish all social media content including both organic and paid campaigns. The manager will also lead a video content team, which is responsible for Reels.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Has social media management experience and experience running social media campaigns
  • Works with ease in using all Instagram tools, including stories, reels, insights, and related content creation apps.
  • Comfortable working with external clients in brainstorming content concepts.
  • Works with ease in all elements of Facebook post creation
  • Committed to accuracy and adherence to KCMC style 
  • Can work independently and run with a task after assigned.
  • Communicate professionally and provide weekly status updates to executive team.
  • Is available to work 10 hours per week. 
  • Is a collaborative and engaging team player 
  • Presents a responsible and professional presence on personal social media channels and engages with others in a respectful way.
  • Comfortable using the Canva program
  • Champion of KCMC's mission and moms of Kansas City.

This is a paid position. Salary will be discussed directly during the interview process.
