Patriotic Mini Quilt Workshop with The Stitching Coach

Learn to make a mini quilt - start to finish - at Jonathan Trumbull Library with the help of Dawn Zillich, The Stitching Coach.

You will leave this program with a mini quilt. No quilting experience is necessary, but you should know how to use a sewing machine. This is a three-hour program.

Kits will be provided, but you will need to bring your own sewing machine and basic sewing kit (see list below). 

Please bring:  
  • sewing machine in good working order with manual
  • sewing machine thread (50-wt light gray recommended)
  • seam gauge
  • seam ripper
  • water soluble pen/pencil
  • walking foot recommended
  • safety and straight pins
Registration is required. For adults, 18+.
