MEGAPHONO GATHER.TOWN REGISTRATION FORM
MEGAPHONO VIrtual is coming May 25-26, 2021!

This year the festival is taking place online, with the main festival feed being beamed into your homes directly from the MEGAPHONO website homepage (megaphono.ca).

As with previous years, we're inviting tons of music industry delegates looking to work with emerging artists.
To recreate the intimate feeling of MEGAPHONO's past in the digital realm, we will be hosting a gather.town space across the two days of the festival. Gather uses your web browser and combines video calling with a 2D map. You can move around using an avatar to interact with people or objects when they are close by. The MEGAPHONO gather space(ship) will feature direct links for viewing all of the festival showcases and conference feeds, as well as some additional fun features, in-festival performances, and much more. We will also be holding networking events in the gather space, where attendees will have open time to meet, mingle and network with our delegates.

The gather.space will be an active hub for artists, music entrepreneurs and delegates to hang out, meet and interact throughout the festival!

We're using a registration process since we have per user costs for gather, to have a better sense of numbers, and to collect input from you on what you want out of MEGAPHONO VIrtual.

We encourage artists of all genres, styles, career levels, and communities to submit. Our main focus continues to be creating opportunities for artists and attendees from the Ottawa-Gatineau area, however we welcome applications from everywhere.
