Marshal brought a smile to anyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.  He was a kind-hearted, caring, funny and talented young man.  One of Marshall's talents was his music, whether it was playing his guitar with family and friends, playing in the school bank or singing and acting in the Bluefield Musical.  Music was an important part of Marshall's life and it was a way that he expressed himself and connected with others.  Marshall was an entertainer, and he was happy to share his talent with others.  This award is for a deserving student who has demonstrated this same type of passion for music - for the purpose of entertaining others and making people smile.
