Please fill out this form by 4/17/22 to be considered by the Nominating Committee for a PTA Officer position for the 2022-2023 school year.

Share your talents and passion for building a strong, supportive PTA by volunteering to lead the TMS PTA next year!  All positions are open and this application is for the 2022-23 school year.

Below is a list of Officer positions and a brief description of each.  Make as many selections as you would like.  Officers will be slated and voted for at elections on May 19th.  Board members serve 1 year terms and a 2-term limit per person.

President:  Preside at all meetings and coordinate the work of the officers and committees.  Share the responsibility of updating the school community via email and social media of PTA events and programs.
First Vice President (EVENTS):  Act as an aide to the president and  perform duties of the president when the president is not available.  The First Vice President shall perform duties relating to PTA activities (Staff Appreciation, Hospitality, Grade Level Dances, PTA Reflections).  Share the responsibility of updating the school community via email and social media of PTA events and programs.
Second Vice President (FUNDRAISING):  Act as an aide to the president and  perform duties of the president when the president is not available.  The Second Vice President shall perform duties relating to the PTA fundraising activities (Spirit Nights, School Musical).  Share the responsibility of updating the school community via email and social media of PTA events and programs.
Treasurer:  Have custody of all the funds, prepare the budget, keep account of receipts and expenditures, make disbursements, present monthly state of accounts at meetings, prepare the annual financial report, arrange for yearly account audit and other financial duties.  Share the responsibility of updating the school community via email and social media of PTA events and programs.
Secretary: Record the minutes for all of the meeting, keep the official copy of the by-laws, maintain membership files, and other duties as assigned. Share the responsibility of updating the school community via email and social media of PTA events and programs.
