Volunteers will act as Group Leaders on the projects, working alongside other volunteers to ensure that children are safe and have an enjoyable holiday. This form should take about 15 minutes to fill out. We ask all applicants to provide the name of two referees who we will contact in the event of your application being successful. These references will be used to confirm your suitability to work with vulnerable children. Your referees should be someone you know in an official capacity and may include a current or past employer, university/school tutor, social worker, probation officer, religious minister or voluntary work colleague. It should not be a close friend or family member. If you have any problems identifying suitable referees then please let our Recruitment Officer know.

- We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults and expect all volunteers to share this commitment. Please take your time and complete the form as fully and accurately as you can.
- Don’t worry if you don’t have much experience working with children, this won't impact your chances of volunteering – you'll be supported by more experienced volunteers and it's a great opportunity to gain more experience!
- We ask for references as part of this form, so please have their details ready
- The dates that you enter for your availability will be taken as provisional. We understand that summer holiday plans can alter, so please let us know ASAP of any changes to your availability to enable us to effectively plan our projects.
