The Henry Kapono Foundation Mele Sponsorship Request Form

The Henry Kapono Foundation supports live music, an important part of vibrant communities. Live music events animate public life, foster strong community relationships, strengthen local economies, and perpetuate and promote the culture of the music of Hawaiߵi.

MELE EVENT SPONSORSHIP

The Mele Sponsorship is a program that encourages organizations to present live music to strengthen communities. Sponsorships are available to support single and multi-day events that promote music as an integral part of the event. Sponsorship funds are for local artist fees and related production costs in the state of Hawaiߵi. Funds are not awarded to National touring acts or bands professionally located outside of Hawaiߵi.

Organizations hosting events in the State of Hawaiߵi may apply for funds at least 60 days in advance of the event date. Applications will be accepted while funds are available.
