If the Covid regulations allow for it, we're hoping to go to bouldering this spring. A maximum of 25 people is allowed per trip so make sure you register on time! If Covid regulations only allow for smaller sized groups, the people who registered first are alloted a place on the trip. In case of cancellation, you'll get a full refund. Registration closes on 24 March.
By filling out this form, you sign up for the Fontainebleau trip on 24-27 April. You can cancel up to 14 days before departure by sending an email to
outdoor@uboulder.nl. After this term UBoulder holds the right to collect up to the full weekend fee to compensate expenses made on your behalf, unless you find a replacement.
FURTHERMORE, IT IS OF THE UTMOST IMPORTANCE THAT YOU HAVE A TRAVEL INSURANCE THAT COVERS BOULDERING. Most travel insurances do not cover bouldering as a sport. If you already have travel insurance, check if it covers bouldering. If it does not, contact your insurance to see if you can upgrade your existing policy.
If you do not have travel insurance, consider becoming a member of the Dutch Alpine Club, the NKBV and sign up for their continuous insurance for worldwide, year round coverage. One other option is to use the short term insurance of Allianz, which takes only minutes to arrange.
Having a travel insurance that covers bouldering is compulsory for any bouldering trip UBoulder organises. Without insurance, you will be excluded from out bouldering trips.
