Starting in Dingwall, we will follow the Peffrey way to Strathpeffer and then forestry trails to Contin, where we will camp overnight and complete a number of activities.  

On day 2, we will continue on to Little Garve, aiming for a mid/late afternoon pickup. 

The route is designed for a relatively easy first day, and a bit more variation on day 2.  It should be well within the capability of the majority of Scouts and leaders!

The planned route is all in Terrain Zero (does not require a Scout activity permit), is off-road wherever possible and follows recognised forestry tracks.  

The dates have been specifically chosen to reduce the impact of ticks and midges in the wooded camp area.
