- What is SAS? Students Above Stigma was established in 2020 at the University of Victoria as a student club set out to eradicate the stigma that surrounds mental health disorders through translating and mobilizing knowledge.
- How can I learn more about SAS? Visit our website at https://uvicstudentsaboves.wixsite.com/uvicsas
- Who can apply for an executive position? Anyone affiliated with UVic (undergraduates, graduates, UVic staff or faculty).
- Can I apply for more than one position? Yes. You can apply for more than one position, but you may only be recruited for one position.
- Are these paid positions? No. SAS is a philanthropic advocacy group.
- How many hours are involved? This depends of the position. More responsibility requires more hours, for example, the President can expect to spend a minimum of 15 hours per month, while a Committee Member may spend 5-8 hours per month.
