Students Above Stigma, a mental health advocacy group at the University of Victoria (under UVSS), is now recruiting new executives for all divisions.

What is SAS? Students Above Stigma was established in 2020 at the University of Victoria as a student club set out to eradicate the stigma that surrounds mental health disorders through translating and mobilizing knowledge.

Who can apply for an executive position? Anyone affiliated with UVic (undergraduates, graduates, UVic staff or faculty).
Can I apply for more than one position? Yes. You can apply for more than one position, but you may only be recruited for one position.
Are these paid positions? No. SAS is a philanthropic advocacy group.
How many hours are involved? This depends of the position. More responsibility requires more hours, for example, the President can expect to spend a minimum of 15 hours per month, while a Committee Member may spend 5-8 hours per month.
