Guidelines
By applying as a vendor you agree that the Centre for Local Food Initiatives (CLFI) - Withrow Park Farmers’ Market, is not liable for any physical injuries occurred while at the market, nor liable for any damage done to the property of vendors including merchandise. We strongly encourage all vendors to obtain liability insurance.
All applicants for the Makers' Markets will be reviewed by the Market Manager and Board of the Centre for Local Food Initiatives.
Set-up begins at 7:30am. Vendors have to be ready to sell for 9AM (no sales before this time are allowed), and must remain open until 1PM unless sold out. However, tents cannot begin to be taken down until 1PM - even if a vendor is sold out.
Market vendors are responsible for providing their own table, chairs and weather protection. Vendor space is not to exceed 10’ by 10’ and must be ready and set-up by 9am. Vendors may share a space if they notify the Market Manager, however vendor fees are per vendor and both vendors must submit a separate application and be accepted to participate.
In the spirit of co-operation and respect, any conflicts that arise in the application of attending the market/or at the market, will be dealt with in a fair manner with the objective to reach a mutually agreeable solution. However, the Market Manager has the right to dismiss a vendor from the market should he/she fail to comply with market guidelines or prove disruptive to a co-operative and positive market environment.
The market has agreed with City authorities to keep waste at a minimum, and all vendors are asked to leave the park area as clean as possible, and MUST take any refuse with them. The garbage and recycling bins on site are reserved for customers and other park users only.
