We decided to host bi-weekly ML math reading sessions following this book mml-book.github.io. The sessions will be もくもく style, meaning there will be no presentation or instructor. We will read for 1.5 hours and then discuss for 30 min in the group. This meetup will help us stay disciplined studying ML math and we'll have the opportunity to discuss with peers. The sessions will be held in central Tokyo, however, we will add a zoom link and a slack channel for remote participants.
