Welcome to Roosevelt Middle School!

We are eagerly looking forward to welcoming our 2023-2024 6th grade students.

Please complete this form with your incoming 6th grade student to let us know your student's elective preferences. Prior to doing so, please review the Roosevelt program requirements below.

Roosevelt 6th Grade Program Requirements:

6th grade students all take year-long language arts, math, science, and social studies courses.

6th grade students take a year-long quarter rotation sequence including a health class, P.E., Drama, and Empower.

6th grade students are offered one elective. Elective offerings include Band, Orchestra, Art, and Doing It All. No experience or instrument required for Band or Orchestra.

Doing It All! is a type of socio-academic safari. Expect both anything and everything. More PE, more health, more drama, and more empower coming your way! There will be an emphasis on community building, higher-order thinking/problem solving and a willingness to always be the “best version of yourself” possible in any situation.

Please rank order your student's elective class preferences in order with #1 as the most preferred class. Please be sure to rank all of the elective class preferences, 1-6. Thank you.
