COMING HOME FESTIVAL needs awesome Volunteers (just like you) in a number of areas to make our event even more magical. PLEASE SELECT NO MORE THAN 3 AREAS that best match your skills and desire. *

CAMPING & PARKING CREW (Must be able to express themselves while maintaining firm boundaries with guests.)

ENVIRONMENTAL CREW (Assist with cleaning on the grounds, food areas and porta johns)

FIRST AID (Must be experienced and more importantly, certified)

FOOD PREP (Assist with food prep for Leads, Volunteers & Green Room)

GUEST SERVICES LEAD (This position will receive ONE FREE PASS / NO VOLUNTEER FEE REQ'D).) Must possess strong communication and leadership skills ~ to Lead the Welcome/Ticket Check, Info, Merch, Camping & Parking)

HOLISTIC RETREAT (Must have good organizational and communication skills)

INFO & MERCH (Resource for festival info and selling festival & band merch)

INTEGRATION TENT (Must have experience holding space for those who may be experiencing shifts or emotions coming to the surface)

KIDZONE (Work with Lead in creating a fun, safe & unique experience for children)

OTHER (Provide further details in section below)

PHOTOGRAPHER / VIDEOGRAPHER (Must have previous experience ... would also desire Drone operation)

SET-UP / TEAR DOWN (Setting up & tearing down tents and other miscellaneous structures for the event.)

STREET VIBE TEAM (Help spread the word by distributing posters in various cities and locations)

VIBE PATROL & WRISTBAND GROUNDS CHECK (Conducting grounds patrol & ensuring only guests with appropriate wristbands are on the grounds each day.)

VISUAL ARTS & LAND BEAUTIFICATION (Assist with Community Arts Project & have ideas for mini art installations to create a more beautiful experience for our guests.)

WELCOME/TICKET CHECK (Must be conficent, organized and good at making decisions on the fly and maintaining firm boundaries with guests.)

Please select the time of day you prefer for your shifts. WE WILL DO OUR BEST to schedule you during these times, but due to putting the pieces together for a very intricate puzzle, this preference does not guarantee you will be scheduled within these hours. *

ENERGY EXCHANGE:

ALL VOLUNTEERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK 12 HOURS toward the event and will receive ONE WEEKEND PASS at a reduced rate.

You will be notified via email of your approval, at which time you may send $50 (plus HST) to cominghomefestival@proton.me to confirm your spot. Please indicate in the e-transfer who the payment is for. NOTE: ALL STUDENT VOLUNTEERS WILL BE EXEMPT FROM THIS FEE.

Approvals will be sent out after May 1st. Fees not paid within 10 days of approval will automatically forfeit your approval.

Additional passes may be purchased through the website.

Volunteers will also be provided nourishing snacks and beverages (during the early afternoon) of each day of the festival.

During the weekend of Coming Home Festival (August 9-11, 2024) gates will be open to our guests from Friday @ 12 noon until Sunday evening @ 7:30 p.m. Sunday evening will be reserved for all Vibe Tribe members to stay overnight as a Volunteer Appreciation Event (food and beverages will be provided).

By entering this Agreement, ALL VOLUNTEERS agree to fulfill their part of the exchange and carry out their duties in the SPIRIT of LOVE of MUSIC!

Volunteers will also be provided with a free Volunteer / Vibe Tribe t-shirt that must be worn during all shifts. Shirts will be ordered in unisex sizing ... please indicate the size you would take? *
