GT/Discovery is the academic enrichment/acceleration program provided for students who have been identified as intellectually gifted and talented.  In order to be identified as gifted and talented, each student must undergo a screening and selection process.  Assessment opportunities are made available at least once per year.  To maintain validity of nationally-normed tests, a student is not allowed to retake the same test within a two year window.  

The Spring GT referral and testing process is only for students NEW to the district following the last day of the first grading period.
Referral Deadline: The last school day before Spring Break, Friday, March 13, 2020.
