VFMA Abstract Submission Form
Please complete the following form to submit your floodplain management topic for the 2023 VFMA Annual Conference on November 13-14, 2023. This conference will be held in person at The Westin Richmond.

The abstract submittal period will close on September 30th. Speakers will be notified in October 2023.

Sessions will be 30-45 minutes. 

Authors will be notified regarding acceptance and the final program will be published in October. 

All speakers must register for the conference and pay the appropriate registration fees. Conference sponsorship are also available. Please visit VFMA's Annual Conference webpage (https://vaflood.org/events/conference/) for more information.

Please provide a brief summary of your presentation for the 2023 VFMA Annual Conference. Presentations are selected based on the abstract summaries, which will be published in the conference agenda.  Appropriate topics include research and practical applications in floodplain management (to include FEMA, state, and other programs), hydrology, hydraulics, dam safety, resiliency, stream restoration, and related water resources subjects.
