Reinbeck Public Library Volunteer Application

Age Requirements: Young Adults (ages 12 & up) and adults are eligible. Junior Volunteers (ages 10 & up) for events.
We have several volunteer positions:
  • Buddy Reader- We are hoping to launch 'Buddy Readers' for the Summer Reading Program. We are hoping to have time slots filled with volunteers willing to read or be read to.
  • Story Time- We are always looking for guest readers for our weekly story times.
  • Mobile Libraries- We have built a bridge between the library and Westview. This program needs an individual to deliver books monthly & visit with residents.
  • After School Volunteer- When children are in the building, engagement and implementing passive activities. If there are no children, then library maintenance and projects: Shelf Reading, Program Prep, Organization etc.
