Hosted by The Phyllis Wheatley Rise To Read Campaign
Saturday, June 15, 2024
4:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M.
The Phyllis Wheatley Rise to Read Campaign (PWRTRC) will host a five-day 2024 Juneteenth Literacy Festival from June 14-16, 2024 at Albert Whitted Park. The purpose of the festival is three-fold: to raise the awareness of African culture, to raise the awareness of the need to place a strategic focus on literacy in the African community, and to support the work of the PWRTRC.
Our festival expands over five days; however, the vending opportunity is during our music festival on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Albert Whitted Park, 480 Bayshore Drive S.E. from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
