Halifax Bsides 2024 Call for Papers!
It's 2024, an Olympic year, which makes it the perfect time to talk about Operation Olympic Games! If you didn't know, that was the secret code name of Stuxnet, a worm that burrowed its way into the airgapped computers of Iran's underground nuclear enrichment facilities, subtly altered the speeds at which their centrifuges were running, and made them shred themselves to bits (i.e. aluminum chunks, not 1s and 0s). But even if what you've done this year isn't quite that advanced (if it was, you'd probably have to kill us after telling us, right?), we still want to hear about it! We are BSides Halifax, and we are now accepting submissions for talks.

What is BSides Halifax
  •  Halifax's favourite one-day infosec conference
  • Newly designated as a not-for-profit
  • Proud partner of ShiftKey Labs to advance the state of tech in this province

Who should submit a talk
  • You!
  • Yes, you!
  • We especially want to hear from folks who think this isn't for them, whether it's your first conference, or you represent an underrepresented group in infosec
  • But honestly, everyone is welcome!

How do you submit a talk
  • Fill out the form below and submit it!

We personally review every submission (no AI here, though we'd love to hear about it), and promise to get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks!
