2021-2022 Snow Day Preferences
During the 2020-2021 school year Iowa school districts were able to utilize virtual instruction on what would have been weather related cancellations of school in the past.  This winter CCA utilized 5 weather related virtual days. Currently we are getting mixed guidance from the State and our supporting organizations for the 21-22 school year. Some say that we can continue as we did this year, some are saying that the ability to utilize virtual days expires, and there's legislation in process that would give districts the ability to use up to 5 weather related virtual instruction days.

We understand that there are advantages and disadvantages for families and staff whether school is cancelled or virtual days are utilized.

As the Board moves to finalize a calendar for the 21-22 school year your input will be helpful in guiding the district decision. Thank you for taking a few minutes to provide us with your insights.

Families only need to complete the survey once, not for each child in this situation. The survey will be closed on Friday, March 19th at noon.
