Parents Advisory Council

The Parents Advisory Council is a group of parents, educators, and administrators committed to sharing information in a collaborative manner to ensure educational excellence for students; ensure parents have an organized voice at the college regarding the student experience, and that parent needs, concerns and issues are communicated effectively. The Advisory Council will serve as ambassadors by fostering relationships with fellow parents to broaden their knowledge of Wheaton and engage their support.

Parents Leadership Committee
The mission of the Parents Leadership Committee at Wheaton College is to build philanthropic support for Wheaton from parents and families. Building on Wheaton’s culture of philanthropy, Parents Leadership Committee members are charged with motivating volunteers and encouraging broad parent leadership engagement through the Parents Fund.
Parent Ambassadors
Ambassadors are current parent volunteers who help amplify the Wheaton experience. This can include but is not limited to: hosting or attending campus and regional welcome and yield events; sending welcome notes or making calls to new families; mentoring families through their student’s years on campus; providing internship or job shadowing opportunities as appropriate for students.
