Gallery Weekend Berlin (GWB), operating since 2005, has been running on the last weekend of April and often runs through the first of May. This forces many art workers to work on Labor Day and infringes upon their political rights. It is hardly defensible that Gallery Weekend Berlin has to take place on one day of the year that is meant to give space for the fight in defense of the workers.

We are issuing an open letter to Gallery Weekend Berlin to reclaim this day.
