TIME AND PLACE OF PILOT COMPETITION FOR MONTENEGRO
The competition will be held on 20 March 2021 at 10am.
Information on the location of the competition, which will be determined in accordance with the epidemiological situation and current measures, will be announced on the official website of the competition:

Participants must arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to the planned start of the competition, and are required to observe the epidemiological measures in effect.
The organiser reserves the right to change the conditions of the competition.
COMPETITION CATEGORIES
The 2021 pilot competition is being organised across two categories:

Ecolier – 5th and 6th grade primary school students
who must respond to 24 questions in 75 minutes. Exercises will be divided into three groups of 8 exercises.
•
Cadet - 9th grade primary school students and 1st year secondary school students
who must answer 30 questions in 90 minutes. Exercises will be divided into three groups of 10 exercises.
Plans are to organise a competition next year to include the remaining categories of students, ie the remaining grades in primary and secondary schools, as follows:

Pre-Ecolier, 3rd and 4th grades of primary school
•
Ecolier, 5th and 6th grades of primary school
•
Benjamin, 7th and 8th grades of primary school
•
Cadet, 9th grade of primary school and 1st year of secondary school
•
Junior, 2nd and 3rd years of secondary school
•
Student, 4th year of secondary school
Students are allowed to compete in their own category or in the category level above it.
PARTICIPATING MUNICIPALITIES
The pilot project involves the primary and secondary schools in three municipalities of Montenegro's central region: Podgorica, Danilovgrad and Tuzi. Plans are to involve all of the country's primary and secondary schools starting next year.
Children from other municipalities visiting one of the pilot municipalities on the day of the competition, have the right to compete, on the condition that they have submitted their applications on time.
LANGUAGE
Plans are to issue the test for the Ecolier category in the Montenegrin/Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian (MSCB) language using the Cyrillic script, and the test for the Cadet category in the MSCB language using the Latin script.
Additionally, the organisers are working to provide the possibility this year for students to take the test in the Albanian and English languages.
Students must indicate their language of choice in their applications.
