After School Program Session 2 Parent Welcome Letter
Dear Parents,

Welcome to Mustang After School Program Session 2 for all MPA scholars grades K-8! We are very excited to have the opportunity to serve you and your scholars. Our programs offered are first come first served and invite only (tryouts, membership, partnership, etc). From 3:30 pm–5:20 pm (Mon, Tue, Thurs) and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Wed), your scholar can participate in a number of enrichment activities, enjoy dinner, and receive homework help.

One of the most exciting things about the program are the clubs we will be offering and also the meal that will be offered. We will be providing your scholar with the opportunity to learn skills in music, media, mentoring, sports, financial literacy and many more! There are 2 sessions of different clubs throughout the 2021-2022 school year. We are now in Session 2 of After School Programming. In addition, we offer programs through our many community partners.

We want structure and variety in the After School Program; therefore our daily routine will be organized in the following way:
• 3:30 pm - 4:00 pm – Dinner/Snack  
• 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm – After School Enrichment Program  
• 5:00 pm - 5:15 pm – Dismissal (extra snack, games, crafts, computers, social time or playground time (weather permitting)

To sign your scholar up, please fill out the attached MPA After School Registration Google Form below (*paper application available upon request then return to the school office).  Registration starts January 3rd and ends March 1st.  There is a $50 registration fee for all families signing up for the Mustang Latchkey program. Pick up is anytime between 4:00-5:15 pm and should not go beyond 5:30 pm (1:15-3:15pm and should not go beyond 3:30pm on Wednesdays).  If you are running late, we ask that you communicate with the club leader, coach or After School Program Director (multiple late infractions will result in loss of  spot in after school program).

NOTE: Failure to follow directions, or considerable disruptions, is grounds for removal from the program.
