Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) is the process of developing the self-awareness, self-control, and interpersonal skills that are vital for school, work, and life success. We have grade level specific books that you can read aloud with your child to help support them with the development of these skills.

Social Emotional Learning Themes

Resource Request - You will receive a read-aloud book(s) based on a Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) theme that you select. Please feel free to partner with your child's teacher to make this selection. You will also receive a handout with questions that you can use as you read the book with your child; and some parent reflection questions. The handout is yours to keep; however, the book will need to be returned to school.
